Founder and Lead Instructor

Elvis is a co-founder of DAIR.AI, where he leads all AI research, education, and engineering efforts. Elvis holds a Ph.D. in computer science, specializing in NLP and language models. His primary interests are training and evaluating large language models and developing scalable applications with LLMs. He co-created the Galactica LLM at Meta AI and supported and advised world-class teams like FAIR, PyTorch, and Papers with Code. Prior to this, he was an education architect at Elastic where he developed technical curriculum and courses on solutions such as Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Logstash.

What students are saying

“If you're using Claude Code, this course is a must. Elvis provides smart, practical best practices and helps you get the most out of this powerful tool. It's a hands-on experience and is very interactive. Highly recommended.”

Nir Hauser | CTO @ VineSight

“Thanks to "Claude Code For Everyone", I'm now using Claude Code every day, and have 10x my daily productivity. I strongly recommend it for creators!”

Angel Cuevas | CEO @ InfraWorks.ai

“Elvis is really knowledgeable and was able to continuously add new material or incorporate new concepts as they came along (crucial given the pace of change in the world of agents, skills, etc.)”

Serge M. | CEO at Privacy Cloud

“I went from unsure to much more confidently coding with Claude Code. This course helped me made the transformation!”

Edwin C.

“The course is representative of the real world in AI: everything is new, things break, bugs are everywhere--but we persisted. The content lived within a developer's workflow. It's transferable outside of an academic setting. Moreover, the Cohort model was excellent, the participants brought perspectives on resources, problem solving, that for me were new and extremely helpful. Elvis was very knowledgeable and both a builder and an academic, so we experienced the why and the how--which is critical when you are entering a new technology, as the bug fixes right now don't arrive in a playbook, but require first principles thinking, and as an instructor he was amazing on this specific capability! Also, I was able to take the class asynchronously, which was awesome--thank you!”
